Call The Moving Truck

May is a month of change. A month where people move on and make new decisions. Goals are written down and most of the time never reached. Yearbooks are signed with numbers for friends to call, but half the time those numbers are never seen again. Promises are made to stay in touch, and promises are broken.
May is not a month to dwell on the depression of school ending, or the dreaded upcoming summer job. May is a month to take in the good that has happened over the past 10 months. It's a time to realize all you've overcome and are about to face. A time to end what you've begun and to start something new.
May is tough.
Finals are taken, friendships are lost over time, and stress goes through the roof. Excitment takes the place of boredom, and fear takes the place of...well fear.
Fear of growing up and moving on. Fear of not seeing the same faces everyday or hearing the same teachers give the same lecturs. Fear is common, but we all overcome it.
We all move on. We all take the next step and pack our bags and head towards the future. Whether we are staying here or moving away, we all do it together. Only a small percentage of seniors will be repeating this year over. The rest of us become responsible for ourselves and take on the world.
We are not in it alone. You will not be the only freshman at ASU or BYU or USC. There are thousands of kids taking the next step in their life.
The only question is: Are you taking the right path to the life you want?
May brings possibilities. All things are possible.
Except men having babies...had to throw that in there.
